I met Steve through a referral from the Shelter Institute.  I immediately liked his direct, analytical approach, and his fluid knowledge of construction details.  In our particular case it was the replacement of rotted windows and their surrounding structure in a building my brother and I had designed early in our architectural careers.  The flashing detail at the junction of masonry, wood framed window wall and roof had clearly eluded us 25 years ago.  Steve and his crew took the ever-unfolding issue one step at a time and left us with a watertight, seamless repair.  My further delight in working with East Shore Builders was Steve's ability to communicate complicated detail long distance via phone, email and photo, and to immediately address even the slightest imperfection caught by an exacting eye. East Shore Builders has an excellent reputation for high quality residential and commercial remodeling and renovation work. I personally observed on a daily basis their work on refacing a very old wood frame commercial building on Maine Street in Brunswick. Old buildings as you might expect have dips, bulges, sags and repairs from previous owners and tenants. East Shore did an incredible job with this face lift. The sags and bulges have disappeared. Good for another 100 years. I can think of several movie stars that would benefit from their work!
